To ease congestion at Sydney International Airport (SYD), the Australian government is constructing Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) adjacent to a new city called Bradfield.  Scheduled to open in 2026, WSI will serve 10 million passengers annually as a 24/7 smart airport  while prioritizing environmental sustainability through strict regulations. The site features multiple sewage collection pits equipped with 28 HCP PUMP units from the GF and AL Series for efficient wastewater management. The GF Series Grinder Pump uses SUS440C cutting blades to ensure grinding efficiency and durability. The 80(100)AL27.5 model delivers a flow rate of 36m³/hr, making it ideal for wastewater and effluent drainage. Supplied by our partner, General Pumps Pty Ltd – Penrith NSW, proudly celebrating 50 years in business and almost 30 years of supplying and servicing HCP pumps, this installation strengthens infrastructure reliability and supports sustainable airport development.
